In the beginning, the drink was produced by the Postum cereal company, which was later acquired by Kraft Foods Company. The Kraft Company also used an in depth ad campaign that leaned heavily on the incontrovertible fact that Postum was caffeine free, and more healthy than caffeinated drinks.
